Like many other organizations, we at Carver State Bank have been closely monitoring the situation, depending on guidance from the CDC, WHO, and state/local health officials.
With the health and well-being of our team, customers, and community top of mind, we have reopened our lobbies during regular lobby hours.
Please read the below strategy being employed by our team, for the safety of all customers and team members, as we enter this phase of reopening. We will continue to monitor conditions and may adjust plans as deemed necessary to protect the health and well-being of our team members, customers, and community.
On Tuesday, June 1st, Savannah Mayor Van Johnson announced the city’s mask mandate has been downgraded to a mask advisory. This means those who are fully vaccinated will no longer have to wear a face mask in the Hostess City. He advises all of Savannah to use good judgement.
We are still requiring masks inside of our lobbies. Customers are required to wear masks that safely cover the mouth and nose. If you do not have a face covering, one may be provided for you. We reserve the right to ask you to briefly lower your face covering if needed for identification purposes.
We are practicing social distancing in our lobbies and are limiting the number of people to 2-3 at a time.
We will ensure all customer points of contact across all locations are sanitized prior to opening and frequently throughout the day. We have sanitizer stands available as well.
Appointments are encouraged. If you have an appointment with a banker or lender, you will be greeted at the front of the lobby upon your arrival.
DRIVE THRU / DIGITAL BANKING
If your transaction can be completed through drive-thru or digital channels, we encourage you to continue utilizing those methods as much as possible in order to reduce exposure.
We ask that if you have had any Covid-19 related symptoms OR had close contact with someone with Covid-19 symptoms OR if you have traveled out of the country in the last 14 days that you utilize our drive-thru or digital services. Covid-19 symptoms include:
- Fever of 100.4 or above
- Shortness of Breath
- Sore Throat
- Loss of smell and/or taste
If a member of our team observes visible signs of illness or if someone refuses to comply with a request to remove their face mask, we reserve the right to ask them to use drive-thru or digital services instead.
